Behind the scenes of the exhibition, part 4: Hanging weapons

Weapons are at the core of the exhibition. Here, they are displayed without cases to allow the visitors to better appreciate the details and craftsmanship of these deadly pieces of art. As an extension of the user’s body, as all tools are, they can also be admired in action through martial arts reconstruction videos based on the study of some of the fight books on display. The curators spent several days preparing the presentation of the weapons within the displays and hanging and securing the objects. With weapons split and displayed in 10 different groups, the exhibition finally takes form.
